Breaking fairy tale news has officially taken the phrase “when pigs fly” off the list of impossible things. The Three Little Pigs were spotted flying above the countryside late yesterday, carried not by wings, balloons, or questionable wizardry, but by their own hair. Nursery Rhyme Under Review
Breaking News: Families around the world are reacting with surprise after reports suggest the beloved nursery rhyme “Hey Diddle Diddle” may not be completely accurate.
“Hey diddle diddle,
the cat and the fiddle,
the cow jumped over the moon;
the little dog laughed
to see such sport,
and the dish ran away with the spoon.”

According to multiple reports on TaleTok, the little dog from the rhyme says the story is not completely accurate.
In an interview with Silly Scoop News, the little dog explained that the rhyme does not match what really happened.
“The cat was not playing music,” he asserted. “He was scratching the strings. Cats like strings so this should all make perfect sense.”
The little dog sparked even more debate after posting on Prince Charming’s platform, Prinstagram, that the cow never jumped over the moon.
“The cow was walking under the moon,” he explained. “He was not jumping over it.”
The cow later agreed with the dog’s statement and clarified the jumping part, recalling quite the buzz.
“I indeed was walking under the full moo-oon until a bee stung me,” the cow recalled. “I then jumped and trotted, as one would under such a painful circumstance. Maybe it looked bigger in the moonlight.”
The cat later agreed with this report. “I never played a fiddle,” the cat concurred while licking his paw. “I scratched the strings of a violin, a different instrument. Someone must have chosen the word ‘fiddle’ because it rhymes with ‘diddle’ and is more suitable for a rhyme.”
However Mother Goose fans have found relief in that the dish and spoon story, appears to be true, as the two were reportedly wed and last seen sharing a cozy kitchen drawer.
The little dog made one final correction before the interview ended.
“I did not laugh,” he said. “I howled at the moon. This is because… I am not a dog. I am a wolf.”
Experts say the story was exaggerated over time to make it more fun, but some worry about how much attention it is getting. New allegations regarding other nursery rhymes are now surfacing, including doubts regarding the truth of Humpty Dumpty. One reader commended, “If the cow didn’t jump over the moon, then we must re-examine whether Humpty actually sat on and had a great fall from a wall. There could be a more logical back story.” Other critics say families should relax and that the rhyme is close enough.
Silly Scoop News will continue investigating famous nursery rhymes to learn what is true and what is just poetry.
