Final Missing Piece of Humpty Dumpty’s Shell Found Near Enchanted Woods

According to a Press Release from the King’s Castle, the final missing piece of Humpty Dumpty‘s shell may have been located near the Enchanted Woods. Literary critics from around the world have rushed to the scene to investigate. Their hope is to find the truth about one of the most famous nursery rhyme incidents.

Scholars and critics have been divided over what truly happened to Humpty following his great fall. Some say that in contrary to the rhyme, he was eventually put back together again, leading a normal life. Others argue that the rhyme itself is true to the letter and that indeed “all the king’s horses and all the king’s men couldn’t put Humpty together again.” While the king’s men reportedly recovered most of his shell fragments immediately after the fall, there were never claims made that all of the pieces were collected. The absence of this final piece has left the situation unresolved and open to interpretation.

Authorities have released limited information regarding the discovery. Palace officials have not given details to how the fragment was identified or how it came to rest near the woods.

Adding to the speculation, a young shepherd known locally as The Boy Who Cried Wolf has claimed he saw Humpty Dumpty moving near his flock of sheep earlier this week. The boy described the figure as “running in a full shell.” If this is true, then this shell that was found could be from any egg and the mystery of Humpty Dumpty will still remain exactly that: a mystery.

Authorities cannot confirm the legitimacy of the claim made by the Boy Who Cried Wolf, as he is well known to create stories for attention. However, officials have noted that if there are further Humpty Dumpty sightings, the king may issue a more formal investigation.

No further information has been released at this time.

This is a developing story.
