Breaking fairy tale news has officially taken the phrase “when pigs fly” off the list of impossible things. The Three Little Pigs were spotted flying above the countryside late yesterday, carried not by wings, balloons, or questionable wizardry, but by their own hair. Witnesses report that the pigs had recently gotten their hooves on a mysterious hair…
Red Riding Hood Forgives the Wolf
Fairy Tale Land was buzzing today after Red Riding Hood made the most unexpected announcement of all.
She forgave the wolf.
“Yes, he scared me,” Red Riding Hood said, brushing crumbs off her cookie basket. “But honestly, without the wolf, I would have just walked to Grandma’s house, dropped off snacks, and gone home. That is not even a story. That is just an ordinary errand.”
The Three Little Pigs agreed. “Without the Big Bad Wolf,” one pig said, “we would just be three pigs who like building. No fame. No glory. No catchy song.”
Even the Boy Who Cried Wolf showed up to speak. “The wolf taught me something important,” he said. “If you lie too much, no one believes you.”
Red Riding Hood reminded everyone that the forest is full of scary things. “There are bears. There are snakes and even thorny bushes. The wolf just happened to get the starring role.”
People in fairy tale land are now calling Red Riding Hood kind, brave, and maybe a little silly too. As for the wolf, he was last seen wiping away a tear and whispering, “I always wanted to be more than just the bad guy.”
And for once, the story had a happy ending for everyone.
