Three Little Pigs Caught Flying After Hair Mishap

Breaking fairy tale news has officially taken the phrase “when pigs fly” off the list of impossible things.

The Three Little Pigs were spotted flying above the countryside late yesterday, carried not by wings, balloons, or questionable wizardry, but by their own hair.

Witnesses report that the pigs had recently gotten their hooves on a mysterious hair growing solution rumored to belong to Rapunzel. While the potion was never intended for swine use, sources say the famous trio decided to “try just a little,” assuming the worst case scenario would be fabulous curls.

They were wrong.

Within hours, each pig reportedly grew hair so long and thick it wrapped around fences, chimneys, and one very confused lamb. That alone caused minor concern. But events escalated quickly.

According to multiple neighbors, the Big Bad Wolf arrived shortly after and began huffing and puffing with unusual enthusiasm. Witnesses say the wind was strong enough to rattle windows, tilt haystacks, and send loose laundry into early retirement.

Then it happened.

As the wolf blew, the pigs’ newly grown hair caught the wind like sails. The pigs lifted clean off the ground and began drifting upward, squealing somewhere between panic and delight.

“They didn’t look scared,” said a nearby maiden looking for her sheep. “More like shocked. And impressed.”

Experts in sorcery and magical physics say the incident can be explained by a perfect combination of factors. Potions like Rapunzel’s affect humans and animals differently. While humans may gain strength and shine, animals appear to gain unexpected aerodynamic properties.

Location also played a role.

Rapunzel’s tower, experts explain, was designed to block strong wind. Thick stone walls and narrow windows prevented enough airflow to lift a person and their hair into the sky. The pigs, however, were standing in an open field during active wolf blowing.

“In short,” said one wizard, “tower hair lowers. Field hair flies.”

The pigs remained airborne longer than expected before landing safely in a nearby hay field. No injuries were reported, though one pig requested scissors immediately upon landing.

Rapunzel was later seen peeking from her castle tower window, holding an empty bottle and sighing softly. She has not commented publicly, but palace insiders say the potion was never tested during high winds or near wolves.

The Big Bad Wolf declined to comment but was seen stretching his sore cheeks.

Silly Scoop reminds readers that magical hair products should never be used outdoors, during storms, or anywhere near determined breathers.
